Children & Young People’s Workforce Level 2
Who would benefit from this qualification?This qualification is aimed at candidates who work, or want to work, in a range of children and young people’s settings, covering the age range of 0 - 19 years old, including care worker, childminder, nursery nurse or youth worker. Level 2 provides a broad understanding of the children and young people’s sector and an introduction to the skills and knowledge required to forge a career in the industry.
What does the qualification cover?Learners are required to complete 31 credits from the 13 mandatory units plus a minimum of four credits from the optional units:
